Come see us championing renewables at the ‘Tales from the Frontlines‘ event on Tuesday 9th May from 7pm at St Olave’s Church Hall on Marygate Lane. The evening will celebrate communities living on the frontline of fossil fuel extraction through stories, testimonies and music performed by Alice Courvoisier, J.Y. Saville, Cath Heinemeyer, the Barberallas & friends. Entry is by donation which can be made on the night.
The event marks the Global Divestment Mobilisation week. So far this fast-growing movement has resulted in over $5.5 trillion of assets being divested from fossil fuels worldwide. We would love to see this money being transferred into renewable energy!
