A fine Feast: our thanks to all!
Many thanks to all who joined us on the 20th of January at The York Cemetery for our fundraiser organised in conjunction with The Friends of York Cemetery, in the presence of the Lord Mayor!
I’m sure most would agree that the event was a success in terms of the entertainment, and also raised over £300 for YCE and a similar amount for The Friends of York Cemetery. This was undoubtedly in no small part due to the variety of talent on show at the event: the musical performances of Frances Jones and David Hammond; David Breslin with our own Chair Richard filling in on bass; the spoken word routines of Clive Dawson, Anthony Day and Gillian Caldicott; and the performance by the dance group who filled in on short notice (although you couldn’t tell).
Once again, a huge thank you to all who joined us, to the performers, to our Toastmaster for the evening, Helen Tait, and also to The Friends of York Cemetery, who provided an excellent venue for the event.

We hope to see all of you again!
